Labor Day Weekend

We decided at 10:00 am on Friday to take a last minute trip out of town for the long weekend. We were packed and in the car at 1:00 pm. My parents and sister were going to come to our house, but when they couldn't...we decided we would go to Panaca and hopefully they could meet up with us there. We really love going to Panaca. It's so relaxing and so fun for the kids. We ended up only staying in Panaca Friday night though. Jill, Robbie, Jimmy, Brigett, and Kyle were all headed home Saturday, so we decided to go over to Cedar City and hang out there the rest of the weekend. My mom has been really sick, so her and my dad stayed home. My mom ended up in the hospital Sunday, but is doing much better now. Krista came up to spend the rest of the weekend with us. Tyler was really bummed he didn't get to see Grandma and Grandpa, but hopefully they will be able to come visit before it starts to get cold. (My family isn't much for snow. I'm not either, but I don't have a choice right now!) We had fun just hanging out in Cedar. We played a lot of "Mario Kart" and card games. I love hanging out with my brothers and sisters.

When we were driving into Utah County, Jake told me to look at the top of the mountains. Crap! They were topped with snow! It begins...

It was nice to get away one last time.

We were happy to get home and back to our schedule.
